The difference between a good paint job and a great one is in the edges, the prep and the finish. This is what we mean.

How a job runs
Four steps, in the same order every time. You know what happens on which day before we start.
Walk-through and quote
We see the rooms, measure, talk colour, and send a written quote with every room and surface on its own line.
Protect and prep
Floors and furniture covered. Nail holes filled, cracks repaired, trim caulked, glossy surfaces sanded and primed.
Paint
Two full coats of Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams, cut in by hand. Ceilings first, then walls, then trim. Clean-up every evening.
Walk-through and touch-up
You look at every wall with us in daylight. Anything you point at is fixed before the final invoice.
Tap a card. Watch the room repaint.
Seven of the colours GTA homes land on most, each shown on the same wall in the same light. The whole page tints to match, so you can feel the colour before you see a chip.
The wall is painted in Agreeable Gray.
Concept imageryWhat every quote includes
A cheap painting quote leaves these out and adds them back later. Ours lists them from the start, so the number you sign is the number you pay.
- Furniture moved and coveredPlastic on everything that stays, drop sheets on every floorIncluded
- Holes filled, cracks repaired, sandedIncluding the ones behind the pictures you took downIncluded
- Trim caulked, primer where neededStains, patches and colour changes get a primer coat firstIncluded
- Two full coats, product namedBenjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams, line and sheen agreed for each surfaceIncluded
- Daily clean-up, final walk-throughPlates back on, furniture back, touch-ups before we invoiceIncluded

Choosing the colour is the hard part
We bring large samples and paint test patches on your own walls, because a chip under store lighting lies. These three palettes are where most GTA homes land.

Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams colours, matched on your wall. The colour consult happens at the walk-through and is not an extra. See the fan deck.

Where we work
Across the Greater Toronto Area. A page for every municipality says what its houses ask of a painter. [John confirms the service area.]
Questions people ask first
How many coats do you apply?
Two full coats on every surface, after primer where the surface needs it: bare drywall, patches, stains, glossy trim and strong colour changes. One coat of a premium paint is a touch-up, not a paint job, and the quote says two coats in writing.
Which paint do you use?
Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams. John holds trade accounts with both, so the quote names the line and sheen for each surface, for example Regal Select eggshell on walls and Advance satin on trim. Other reputable brands on request.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. Large pieces are moved to the centre of the room and covered in plastic, floors get drop sheets, and switch plates and hardware come off rather than being painted around. You handle small items, electronics and anything fragile.
How long does a job take?
A typical bedroom is [n] day, a main floor [n] days, a full interior [n] days, and cabinets [n] days with drying time. The quote carries the dates, and the crew stays on your job until it is done.
Do you publish prices?
No. Every quote is written from a walk-through of your rooms, with each room and surface on its own line, so the number you sign is the number you pay. What we will tell you on the first call is whether your budget and the job fit.
Are you insured?
Insured and WSIB covered [John confirms], with a [2-year] written workmanship warranty on every job. The certificate goes out the same day you ask for it.
Where do you work?
Across the Greater Toronto Area: Toronto and its former boroughs, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Pickering and the municipalities between. [John confirms the full service area.]
Guides
Plain answers from the people holding the brush. No prices in the guides; every number comes from a walk-through.
What decides the cost of interior painting in Toronto
The cost of interior painting is set by how much preparation the walls need, how high and how cut-up the rooms are, and how far the colour has to move.
How to choose a white paint that looks right in your room
Every white paint leans somewhere, towards yellow, red, blue or grey, and the light in your room decides which lean you see.
Benjamin Moore vs Sherwin-Williams: what a painter actually uses
Both companies make excellent paint, and the difference on your wall comes down to which line you choose, not which logo is on the can.
